Inexhaustible !

This blog is for folks all over the Americas (including USA and Canada) who wish to support fundraiser events for the All India Movement (AIM) for Seva. This mega-project, "AIM For Seva", was founded by Poojya Swamiji Dayananda Saraswati for the upliftment of the rural poor children in India.

The samskritam word "akshaya" means "inexhaustible". We wish that a mega-project like AIM For Seva gets sustained funds that can never be exhausted, thanks to its volunteers across the globe, who demonstrate inexhaustible levels of energy, enthusiasm, and team-work!

Script, Choreography, and Direction :
Rukmini Vijayakumar of NAYANI fame

Prabhavati, like her name suggested, had luminous beauty. Born to the powerful Asura Vajranabha, she grew up amidst the asuras. However, Prabhavati  was different from her clan. She didn't approve of asuric ways and had a kind heart. When the time came for her to find a suitor, she turned down all that came to her. She then heard that Krishna had a son, Pradyumna. Even when she heard of his name, Prabhavati knew that he was the one that she wanted to marry. Pradyumna's stories of valor spread far and wide and Prabhavati grew more fond of him each day, even without ever seeing him.

Indra and Krishna planned to bring Pradyumna and Prabhavati together and sent the celestial swans to both of them to speak of one to the other. Pradyumna also soon fell in love with the luminous beauty without ever laying eyes on her.

Vajranabha, however, is so powerful that no one can enter his kingdom. Pradyumna finds a way around this to get to his beloved. The story tells of the defeat of Vajranabha and the delightful union of Prabhavati and Pradyumna.
